Confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services (Senate Roll Call Vote 52, Feb. 13, 2025)
How they voted
Yes
Why it's spineless

Moody sits on the Senate HELP Committee — the panel that grilled Kennedy about his vaccine record — and was in the room for his evasive testimony. But when her turn came at the HELP hearing, she used her time to press him on the Biden administration's handling of unaccompanied migrant children, not his anti-vaccine record. She heard firsthand that Kennedy could not disavow settled science, and voted YES anyway, without a single public reservation.

Caught in their own words

As a former prosecutor and the mother of a school aged child, I know firsthand the dangers our children face online. We are the first generation of parents having to deal with predators getting to our children under our own roofs through their devices. The old rules — stranger danger, don't get in the van — aren't enough to protect them anymore. That is why I am throwing my full support behind the Sunset Section 230 Act, and I urge my colleagues to get off the sidelines and finally do something to protect our kids.
